"Befriend your anger; it's a conversation with yourself about what's acceptable and what's not."

Anger is an emotion that can inspire action, assertiveness, self-expression and connection. it can also wreak havoc on our lives and limit who we are being.

A healthy relationship with anger benefits our physical and mental health, relationships, work, and parenting but we’re not born with this – it’s something we have to learn.

For many of us, our early experiences and the examples we were set didn’t give us what we needed to embody an empowered relationship with anger.

It’s not too late to change this. If a healthy relationship with anger isn’t something you have, you can change.

This three-week journey will guide you to understand and experience your relationship with anger so that you can transform it and begin to channel it in healthier, more impactful ways.

Who is it for?

This programme for anyone who wants to explore their relationship with anger, wherever you are on the ”anger spectrum” - from anger being close to the source or buried deep making it difficult to access

What is involved?

Working together as a small group, we will begin with a combination of online discussion and personal self-enquiry to uncover your anger story. We’ll then come together in person and play and experiment, experiencing what it feels like to embody anger and assertiveness through boxing and breathwork. Then we will complete the programme with a dialogue session and emotional processing to look at what we have learnt and how we can take it forwards into our lives.

When:

The first online session will be held on the 8th Nov, 12-2.30 pm on Zoom

The second will be a full day session on the 15th Nov, 10am-3pm in person @PTHub in Portslade (BN41 1DW)

The third will be another online session on the 22nd Nov, 12-2:30pm on Zoom

Tom

Tom is a coach, breathwork facilitator and ex-pro MMA fighter with more than a decade’s experience blending embodiment coaching with breathwork and somatic techniques to clear subconscious blocks, build resilience and find clarity.

Beth

Beth is a writer, a scientist, a mum and founder of Lovely Messy Humans. She encourages people to work with the parts of themselves they have been avoiding to heal trauma and unlock new ways of being. Everything she shares is based on her own journey of personal transformation and healing.
