Perfect Imperfect Film Exhibition Saturday 19th Sept 26

PERFECT IMPERFECT is a one-night-only cinematic showcase celebrating brilliant independent filmmaking from XVI Studios, Dark Reality and Fully Focused Productions. We will be bringing together four original films spanning multiple genres from a Christmas-themed comedy, to Grime Music & Sci-Fi, to award-winning dramas—that showcase the ambition, creativity, and determination of independent filmmakers committed to making uncompromising work.

Award-winning filmmakers Selorm Adonu and Marcus Austin present four original films under the collective body of work titled 'Perfect Imperfect', creating cutting-edge stories that reimagine what independent cinema can achieve.

Perfect Imperfect is the story of artists creating with whatever is around them—embracing limitations without ever compromising their creative genius. A STORY OF PERFECTION IN THE TRANSIENCE OF IMPERFECTION. In London, there's a story told again and again: "I was going to, but I couldn't." Tonight, we'll show you... you can.

SHOWCASING:

🎄 DECK THE ENDS:  After accidentally knocking out Santa, four friends must save Christmas before sunrise.

🎤 CLASH: Three Grime MCs chasing £100,000 cash prize discover that some opportunities come at the ultimate cost  , beyond our world.

🗻 INTO THE BORDERLAND: A experimental fashion film that explores when a journey home becomes a search for identity in a world before borders existed.

🥊 MAN TO MAN: A father and son step into the boxing ring to fight for something neither knows how to say.

Created outside the traditional system, these films are proof that powerful storytelling isn't defined by budget or permission. It's defined by vision. No Uni degrees. No Industry Backing. No Rich Uncles. From the mud.

Across one night only, audiences will experience an hour-long programme of original, high-quality films with three screening times available (5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:00 PM), giving everyone the chance to be part of this unique event. 

The final screening also includes a post-screening Q&A with cast and creatives before we head to the after party.
