Scotland Skillshare Event: Designing a Practical Learning Programme

Join us at Willowburn Woods for a day of learning how to design a practical learning programme for your project. This event has been designed for anyone who runs or works at a community project or is thinking of setting one up to support you with your work.

Experienced educator and LAND tutor James Chapman will share how he has curated his own educational offerings at Willowburn Woods, including practical considerations for hosting students on site.

• Learn how he has created a thriving learning network and how this supports him with the promotion of events and courses.
• Take a project tour and learn how James has used permaculture to design this multifunctional and diverse habitat.
• Explore how you could design your own project learning programme through gaining a clearer understanding of your capacity, resources and skills.
• This skillshare event will include some hands on practical activities, so bring your gloves and wellies and be prepared to get stuck in.
• Enjoy a homemade lunch
• Meet and network with other project leaders

We are deliberately keeping this event to a maximum of 30 places, so that there will be plenty of opportunity to get to know the group and to have your individual project needs met. Due to this limited amount of places on this course, we are restricting booking to a maximum of  two people from each organisation. 

Your ticket includes lunch and refreshments on the day. Please let us know of any dietary, accessibility or wellbeing needs that you have and we will communicate this with your event host.
