This is a 6 week watercolour course from 1pm - 3pm on Wednesday afternoons, suitable for all skill levels including beginners. Each week there will be a different painting which the group will paint along with the tutor. The demonstration will be done in stages and at the same time  and will be shown on a monitor screen, or you can watch directly if you wish. At all stages you can ask questions, and the tutor will walk round regularly to help you with your painting individually. The group is small and friendly,  no more than 12, and is in a pleasant Victorian school house next to the river Ouse. Directions : From Howden, head to Howden Dyke and follow the road along the river until you reach the sign for Scholfield Hall, turn left into the carpark.

You will be sent the reference for each painting well before each class, so you will have time to draw it first, or you can draw at the class if you prefer. The reference can be sent by email, or you can join the private Facebook group for the class only. 

Art materials are not supplied, but some will be available for beginners for the first week. 

Tutor :- Peter David Scott is an award winning professional artist and book illustrator, with over 50 solo books published worldwide, for most of the well known publishing houses eg Usborne, Random House, Quarto, Time Life, Reader's Digest, Dorling Kindersley and Harper Collins.

Peter also teaches regular sketching workshops for the RHS at Harlow Carr.
