Peterhouse Organ Recital - 27 January - Claudia Grinnell

We are delighted to be holding a series of recitals throughout Lent Term to showcase our newly renovated organ. Claudia Grinnell is our guest organist for this recital.  

Claudia is Sub-Organist at Winchester Cathedral, where she has particular responsibility for the Girls’ Choir. She studied at the University of Cambridge, receiving a first-class degree in Music. Whilst at university she was Organ Scholar at Peterhouse, taking full responsibility for the running of the Chapel Choir. Her final two years here saw the choir embark on tours to Reykjavík and Dublin. She then spent a year as Organ Scholar at Salisbury Cathedral, before moving to Winchester in 2017. Alongside her current post, Claudia also teaches organ at Winchester College.

The recital will take place in the Peterhouse Chapel and will commence at 6.00 p.m., lasting around an hour. Tickets are free and the recitals are open to the public on a first come, first served basis but you must have a ticket to enter. We ask that attendees enter the College via the Porter's Lodge where you will need to show your ticket, and please be seated by 5.30 p.m.
