The Busyness Trap (23 Nov, 11:45-12:30)

Mon 23 Nov 2026 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM GMT Online, Zoom

Session 1: The Busyness Trap Monday 23 November, 11:45am - 12:30pm

We wear busyness like a badge. Packed calendars, back-to-back meetings, "Sorry, I've been so busy" as a greeting. But what if all that pace is stopping us from doing the work that actually matters?

The Busyness Trap is a free session designed to help you spot the patterns you might not realise you're stuck in. It's honest, practical, and built for anyone who's ever reached Friday wondering where the week went.

What you'll walk away with:

  • How to recognise the difference between being busy and being productive
  • Why your brain can't think clearly when it's constantly switching tasks
  • Practical ways to create space in your day without falling behind
  • Permission to slow down (and the research that says you should)

The details: Monday 23 November 2026, 11:45 to 12:30 | Online via Zoom (grab a cuppa or your lunch and join from wherever you are) | Free to attend, with an optional donation

N.B. This is the first of four Monday lunchtime sessions running through to 14 December. Each one stands alone, so come to one or come to all. You don't need any training or preparation. Just a willingness to pause and take a look at how you're really working.

Delivered by Peter Larkum, Mental Health and Neurodiversity speaker and trainer.
