Identify, understand, and help

This online course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider, with a specific focus on how that relates to younger people. Help identify, understand and help a young person who may be developing a mental health issue. In the same way as we learn physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health.

Live sessions are built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions, and workshop activities

Due to some of the sensitive subjects of our courses, we limit numbers to 16 people. We want everyone to feel safe and our instructors can help if people find some bits particularly difficult.
