ON HEALING: Between Breaths Opening · Community Gathering · Kunsttage Basel

Within the framework of the PF25 cultural projects ‘ON HEALING’ series, this new multi-site installation unfolds across three adjacent houses from Klingelbergstrasse into Mittlere Strasse. Moving through streetside shopfronts towards the historic Luginsland fountain and the university library near Petersplatz, it transforms a place of velocity, flows and interfaces into a porous field where art, movement, water and daily life intermingle.

Extending the collaborative Kunsttage 2025 installation by Violette Fassbaender, Arnold Annen and Copa & Sordes, the 2026 chapter welcomes Gabriella Disler. Through distinct site-responsive interventions, the artists approach healing not as resolution, but as an ongoing exchange between bodies and architecture, interior and exterior, stillness and movement. Together, their works form a dispersed choreography of tension and release — a breathing organism across the street, inviting us to move through the city with heightened sensitivity and rediscover connections already flowing beneath its surface.

This project is curated by Angelika Li & Donald Mak and presented by PF25 cultural projects, also as part of Kunsttage Basel 2026 Programme.
