Philly Stake: A Micro-Granting Event for Creative Community Engagement

Join us for an afternoon of community, creativity, and generosity! Philly Stake is a micro-granting event that supports creative, community-engaged projects — and you get to help decide who receives funding. Philly Stake is an all volunteer-run project. Proceeds go directly to the grantees, to support the event and for subsequent events.

When: Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM
Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive at noon or shortly after.

The Program:

• 12:00–12:40 PM — Science Fair–style tables where you can browse presenters' proposals
• 12:45 PM — Lunch, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options 
• 1:00 PM — Nine presenters share their project ideas (3–4 minute presentation each)
• After presentations — Cast your vote for the project you believe is most worthy of funding
• 2:15 PM Dessert while ballots are counted
• 2:45 PM Awardees announced!
• 3:00PM Event Ends
