With new code requirements and incentives, Passive House is booming in Massachusetts, raising the bar for every team. In this workshop, Passive House Massachusetts will share hard-won lessons learned from dozens of successful projects in the state about how to deliver these projects on time, on budget, and ready to pass the rigorous certification process. We’ll cover the building science fundamentals behind Passive House, the planning and QA/QC strategies that get projects over the line, and new models for supporting trades to deliver their best work.
We'll start with an (optional, complimentary) lunch from 12:00-1:00pm, and the workshop will run from 1:00-4:30pm. We’ll leave plenty of time to answer your questions about how to manage costs and deliver better buildings. The workshop will be followed by the Mass Save RNC Builder & Rater Appreciation Night, featuring Dr. Joe Lstiburek!
