Guide to Networking at HIMSS25

HIMSS25 is just a few weeks away. If you are going to HIMSS25 to network, do you have a plan?  While most people think of networking is only good for job hunting, in fact, it be used quite successfully for career advancement as well.

HIMSS25 will be a gold mine opportunity for those that want to network, but the global conference is an overwhelming event, even for those like myself who have been to more than 20, so doing advance preparation can be quite valuable. 

How well prepared are you?

• Do you know how you will allocate your time between sessions, exhibit hall, and the rest of the programing?
• Do you know who you should be targeting to talk to?
• Do you have a specific type of job or employer in mind?
• Have you identified what your ideal role might be?
• Do you have your value proposition defined?
• Are you comfortable networking?
