Own a SIGMA Lens?
Join photographer Myles Shelly for an exclusive hands-on workshop exploring portraiture, architecture, still life and creative lighting techniques across Dublin city.
The workshop will begin at Photo Museum Ireland with a short presentation and introduction to working with natural and continuous light. Participants will then move through a series of guided practical exercises both in the museum and on location around Temple Bar and Dublin city centre.
Throughout the day, Myles will share insights into his own approach to image-making, lens choice, composition, and working with available light in changing urban environments.
Workshop highlights include:
- Constructing simple still life set-ups using daylight and continuous lighting
- Portrait photography using a single light source alongside natural light
- Exploring outdoor portraiture in urban settings
- Architectural photography at Dublin Castle using tripods and slow shutter techniques
- Creative motion and panning exercises to experiment with movement and atmosphere
- Practical advice on getting the most from your Sigma lenses in real-world shooting situations
This workshop is ideal for photographers who already own Sigma lenses and want to deepen their understanding of how to use them creatively and effectively.
