Azure Dementia friendly tour of Robert Ellis's - The Forbidden Sun exhibition - armchair edition - online event

Azure is a free experience designed for people living with dementia and their families and friends. During Azure, you will explore 3 selections of artwork from Photo Museum Ireland’s current exhibition with a facilitator who has received Azure training in dementia-inclusive arts programming.

"The Photo Museum's virtual exhibition was an excellent experience for our day centre clients, an experience they would not normally get to enjoy. We were transported to a museum over 200 miles away without leaving the room. The session was engaging, interactive and sparked great conversation, memories and curiosity among our clients and staff. Darragh presented it in a warm and inclusive way, making everyone feel involved. It was a wonderful way to make the exhibition accessible, and we would highly recommend it to other community / day services.

Azure tours are offered both in-person in our gallery-led Azure Tours or online in our Armchair Azure Tours using the Zoom platform. This is a free programme and we welcome all participants and their families, friends and carers.
