Wed 22 Jul 2026 19:00 - 21:00 IST Photo Museum Ireland, D02 X406

Experience an evening of deep relaxation and immersive sound in the unique surroundings of Photo Museum Ireland.

Taking place after hours in the gallery, this special sound bath is set within Afterimage: Photography in the Digital Age, a group exhibition exploring how photography is being transformed by digital technologies and new forms of image-making. Bringing together Irish and international artists working across photography, sculpture, gaming, archives, and digital media, the exhibition invites us to consider how images shape our understanding of the world and our place within it.

Against this thought-provoking backdrop, sound healing therapist and meditation teacher Simone Meschnig, accompanied by sound healing practitioner Nigel, a Thai yoga massage therapist, who is also passionate about sound healing. The session combines Tibetan singing bowls, gong, drum, chimes, voice, and other instruments to create a rich and restorative soundscape. Many participants find sound baths deeply relaxing, helping to reduce stress, release tension, improve sleep, and cultivate a greater sense of calm and focus.
