K.niin will be sharing his approach to the Hip Hop dance, which he describes as “FlowStyle”. FlowStyle helps to bring a wholistic view to the elements that show up in our music; focuses in on the ROOT of our foundation within street dance, highlighting the unique vocabulary that every body is born into. K’niin Abbrey is a multidisciplinary performance artist specializing in street dance forms, digital arts and music production. Abbrey has developed a rich understanding of “mixing”. Using his unique perspective to inform conversation or flow between seemingly contrasting elements Abbrey's passion extends worldwide and has been recognized globally; Taking part in renowned international dance competitions, while additionally, lending his performance abilities to acclaimed productions such as the Emmy Award Winning "Hip Hop Nutcracker," Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre and Rennie Harris Pure Movement among others. Passion Fruit is a street/club dance and educational company, founded in 2016 by Tatiana Desardouin, (Choreographer/Art.director). Through educational programs and dance works, the mission is to: promote street/clubbing dance styles and cultures; highlight its black heritage ; explore and address social issues; inspire young artists to share their voices. They performed in USA “Dance Within Your Dance” and “Trapped” in theaters such as BAAD!Theater, Summerstage, Jacob's Pillow, the New Victory, LOHH festival, 92NY, MASS MoCA, Dance Place, the Guggenheim, BRIC!,ADF and abroad.
