Join us for an hour of support and reflection as we explore challenging aspects of supporting people experiencing complex pain.
If you have not attended a PPA Peer Support session before, please watch this video as an introduction from 21:00. This information will not be repeated in the session.
Participants are invited to bring along a complex case or aspect of practice that they would be willing to discuss with a small group. It would be helpful if cases could be summarised into a line or two that could be shared in the chat box. The group will choose which case to discuss collectively.
These sessions will be an opportunity for clinicians at all stages of their career to reflect and develop their practice through open conversations and facilitated discussion.
We are lucky to have so many experienced facilitators, including support from Christine P and Louise Trewern, PPA Patient Representatives will also join the discussion groups in the session to support clinicians participating. You can find out more about all the facilitators here.
A reflective model will be used for case discussion (Launer, 2016).
Members from all specialities are welcome. The PPA is committed to support Chartered Physiotherapists and other clinicians to effectively support patients with the treatment and management of complex pain.
This benefit is available to PPA members only.
