The GottaGetGon Folk Music festival is a public function of the Pickin' & Singin' Gatherin', held over Memorial Day Weekend, since 1970.
This family-friendly music festival centers around folk music with the misson to pass on the love of traditional music and dance to younger generations. It's a time to lean back, sit around, and be with friends and family, play some music, sing some songs, attend some workshops and listen to some of the best music around, day and night. Enjoy the Saturday night Barn Dance, Sunday morning gospel sing, Sunday afternoon Open Mic, workshops and concerts Saturday and Sunday, and make your own music with friends new and old all weekend long.
Featured performers this year are: Hubby Jenkins, master of old-time American music; Robin and Linda Williams, legendary folk duo frequently heard on A Prairie Home Companion; Cate Clifford, singer of traditional and trad-adjacent songs across many styles and
regions; Craig Werth, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist; John Kirk and Trish Miller will lead this year's family barn dance on Saturday evening.
Camping is included in the all-weekend ticket price. Electric hook-ups are available.
Kids 18 and under are free accompanied by an adult.
