Power Up: Dance, Movement & the Changing Curriculum
As the landscape around PE continues to change, schools are being asked to think differently about how they build the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality physical education within their own settings.
This November, Power Up turns its attention to dance and movement, exploring what these changes could mean for teachers, schools and creative practitioners, and where dance can play a valuable part in curriculum and enrichment.
Led by Claire Pring at King Street Studios, this will be a practical and supportive session, with opportunities to get moving, explore approaches and build confidence, alongside space to share experiences and consider the wider curriculum context.
Whether you're a teacher looking to develop your practice or a creative practitioner interested in how your skills can support schools, come along to try things out, exchange ideas and explore what dance can bring to PE.
No dance expertise required, just a willingness to listen, share and maybe have a go.
