Develop confidence and creative approaches to sketchbook use working with Key Stage 2 pupils.
This session will build your skills and confidence in expanding the impact of sketchbooks for learning with KS2 pupils and provide you with ideas and activities that can be easily adapted for your pupils and curriculum needs. National Curriculum guidance states: “that pupils should be taught: to create sketch books to record their observations and use them to review and revisit ideas.”
At PiCL we know sketchbooks, as well as being useful tools for recording learning, they can be so much more! They have the potential to be incredible art objects in their own right. We will be exploring a variety of sketchbook approaches, as well as how to make sketchbooks and zines from scratch. Take your sketchbooks to the next level - supercharged and full to bursting with ideas, notes and joyful creativity.
What People Will Leave With
