The Shabbat Table - Can We Talk?

Sometimes talking about death, can change your life...

For most people - whether 18 or 118, there’s never a right time to talk about death and loss – we believe it’s never too soon to start. The Pico Union Project invites you to join us at the Shabbat Table for an evening of great food and conversation. Arielle Friedtanzer our facilitator writes:

“We all die, and while sometimes we don’t have a say in how or when that happens, often in today’s America, we do.  What if, at any age, we planned for our deaths the way we plan for going to college or retirement? What decisions would we make to ensure those final memories encompass who we are?           Who would we share those wishes with and how would we start that conversation?”

The Pico Union Project invites you to join Arielle and a group of experts for an evening of great food and conversation,  as together we see how talking about death can change your life.  If not now, when?
