Pink Pistols' New Shooter Event

Never handled a firearm before? Just bought a new one, but haven't been to a class yet? This event is for you! This event is NOT for experienced shooters. Look out for our other events at other skill levels.

At this event, we have three experienced coaches guiding new shooters through basic firearm safety and handling before getting on range and hands-on! We limit learner:coach ratio to 2:1 so this event will only have 6 slots – sign up before it fills up!

We don’t charge anything for our time but we are charging a $42.50 deposit – After signup fees the rest of this deposit will go to lane fees and covers the price of one box of 9mm used for the event. Any deposits from no-shows will go towards supplies for those who did show or future events. We don’t keep any of the deposit ourselves. The deposit covers the price of one (1) box of 9mm, but not all of the ammo cost if participants choose to purchase more.

THE $42.50 DEPOSIT DOES NOT REPRESENT THE TOTAL COST! You will have to cover the range's 1st time visitor fee, and optional rentals fees will not be included. Our coaches are taking time out of their day and paying their own range fees, so unfortunately we cannot cover monetary costs of others as well. 

THIS IS NOT A FORMAL CLASS. Although there will be a certified pistol instructor present, this event represents an introductory experience focused on safety and first rounds on target. Basic pistol and rifle classes are an all-day event and are a great follow-up opportunity, this event does not fill that role. We do have contacts for LGBTQ-friendly professional instructors and ranges that are welcoming of people of all types if a formal Pistol/Rifle class referral is something you’re interested in.
