"The Hidden Stories Behind World Cup Shirts"
With Joey D'Urso

Summary
Joey D'Urso is a journalist and author of More Than A Shirt: How Football Shirts Explain Global Politics, Money and Power. He has criss-crossed the world finding political stories behind football shirts, from how Schalke in Germany tells the story of the war in Ukraine, to the Colombian shirt with a dead gangster's face on the back.

As well as talking about his book, he will look ahead to the World Cup and share stories behind international teams' shirts. These include how Brazil switched from white to yellow shirts after a shock defeat in 1950, how Germany's black and white comes from the flag of Prussia, and how 'the Black Stars' of Ghana trade their identity back to a shipping line.
