"Is Christopher Nolan a Philosopher?"
With Alexander Sergeant

Summary
Christopher Nolan’s blockbusters are known for their ability to bring together visual spectacle with complex ideas about the nature of dreams, memory and time. Does that mean his films ‘count’ as works of philosophy, or is that a silly label to put on something designed primarily for our entertainment? This talk will explore if, and how, Nolan might be considered as a philosopher, and what that philosophy might look like.
