This is more than just a party. It’s a chance to celebrate Pippa’s legacy and raise vital funds for the hospital that lovingly cared for her and continues to support her family. Your ticket also helps fund ‘Pip’s Clips’, special bonding clips for neonatal babies and their parents.

💜 About Pippa’s TWO-gether Party

On 25th August 2024, our beautiful daughter Pippa Isobel Waller Gillibrand was born, flew into this world and entered in true diva fashion, just like the little drama queen we always knew she would be.. Tragically, due to a complication during labour, Pippa was deprived of oxygen and suffered severe brain damage and organ failure. She was diagnosed with HIE (Hypoxic-Ischaemic Encephalopathy).

She spent the next 12 precious days in the care of the Neonatal Unit at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, where we were able to stay by her side 24/7. While those 12 days were the most difficult, gut wrenching, heart breaking days we’ve ever experienced, they were also, at times, the most beautiful, most special and most precious days of our lives as we held, cared for and above all, loved our brave and beautiful little girl; all made possible by the extraordinary staff who helped us create memories we will treasure forever.

The team not only cared for Pippa with compassion and dignity, but supported us to feel like Mum and Dad in every sense. We were encouraged and supported to do the things most parents take for granted — feeding her, changing her, bathing her, dressing her and, most importantly, sharing endless cuddles and kisses. They took the time to help us learn how to care for Pippa around her many wires and tubes, so she could feel our love and touch. We were never made to feel like visitors — we were always treated as her parents.

When the time came to say goodbye, the hospital’s bereavement team stood with us, guiding us with patience and compassion through our worst days. They continue to walk beside us in the months since Pippa passed away peacefully in our arms on 5th September 2024.

Pippa’s One-derland Party is our way of celebrating what would have been her 1st birthday — a joyful, family fun day full of live music, entertainment, kids' activities, stalls, raffles and more — raising vital funds for the Neonatal and Bereavement teams at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, who gave us the gift of time, love and memories with our little girl.

The event will also support our new initiative, ‘Pip’s Clips’ — special clips that help parents bond with their neonatal babies through scent, when physical touch isn’t possible. The idea came from our own experience and is now being shared with other families in Pippa’s name.

By attending or donating, you’re helping other parents receive the same incredible care and support we did — and ensuring that Pippa’s legacy lives on with love, purpose and impact.
