My Secret Sister are a Somerset based vocal trio, consisting of three highly experienced and respected vocal artists and choir and workshop leaders, Su Hart, Bel Barnett and Zoie Kennedy, who together captivate audiences with delicious harmonies from around the globe. With many years of eclectic performance experience under their belts - as solo artists, choir leaders, in bands and theatre companies - Sue, Bel and Zoie bring their unique flavour to an array of songs, harvested from a global field of music.

Stemming from jazz, folk, world music and theatre backgrounds, My Secret Sister weave together global threads of song in an exciting and varied repertoire. They aim to tell stories through song, and above all, to have fun in every moment!

Pitchblend are privileged to be hosting Su, Bel, and Zoie for a concert in the beautiful St Stephen's Church on their first appearance together in Bristol as My Secret Sister. We know Bristol will love them, and we're sure this visit will be the first of many.

“A Spring Burst of A Capella: Friday night (in Bath’s Rondo Theatre) was a melodious feast of song delivered by the sensational ‘My Secret Sister’. Their presentation was a delightful tonic for the aural senses, delivered with humour and wit. We were treated to pieces in our native tongue interspersed with Slavic, African and Celtic offerings to boot! Don’t miss this feast when it comes your way!”

Tickets

We work hard to keep all of our events accessible to as many people as possible, while still adequately compensating our expert music leaders. To that end we are offering a choice of three price bands to suit your means, plus a youth rate. In choosing the appropriate price band, we suggest the following guide:

Supporter: If you can comfortably afford to pay your bills, and more than one or two main holidays each year, please consider paying the supporter rate, which will help us to offer lower cost tickets to those who would otherwise be unable to attend.

Standard: If you can pay all your bills, but don't have a lot of disposable income for discretionary spend, the standard ticket price may be right for you.

Concessionary: For anyone on a low income, in receipt of income based benefits, or who would struggle to pay the standard rate.

Youth: 14-21 years. (Under 14 free with a responsible adult)

£20/15/10/8

As always, if you are keen to attend but cost is a barrier for you, pl
ease contact us directly. We would never want to turn anyone away on grounds of cost.

Timings

Concert
19.30-21.00, with interval (doors open at 19.00)

The workshop is open to all. Songs will be taught by ear, so there is no need to read music or to have prior musical experience. But we usually find that Pitchblend events attract many strong, experienced singers, so there will be plenty of supporting voices. Combined with Su, Bel and Zoie's expert teaching and the fine acoustic of St Stephen's, we look forward to creating a magical sound together.

Cancellation and refunds

Covid
If you have symptoms consistent with covid or any other respiratory illness, or have been in close contact with someone with covid shortly before the event, please take a LFT in the 24 hours before attending. Anyone showing a positive result should not attend. A full refund will be given.

Exchange or refund
If you cannot attend, you are welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else. This should be at or below face value. Refunds for reasons other than communicable illness are at the organiser's discretion.
