About Workshop
Join printmaker Pamela Scott for a linocut workshop around the theme of ‘By the Sea’.
Pamela will guide you through the process of designing, cutting and printing your own unique linocut prints. All materials will be provided and you can take your linocuts home to print again and again should you wish. If you like, you can bring some reference materials to work from. Take inspiration from the surrounding landscape, the picturesque buildings of Pittenweem, the historic harbour, the Firth of Forth and the North Sea beyond or all the wonderful creatures contained within.
Suitable for absolute beginners as well as those returning for a refresh of the linocut process. Ages 14+.
About Pamela
Pamela Scott is an illustrator and printmaker who works from her home studio in Newburgh, Fife. She creates original black and white linocut prints inspired by her surroundings and often feature much loved buildings and landmarks. She also has popular range of prints called ‘Linocut Lyrics’ inspired by her love of music. Her work can be found in local independent shops, at seasonal craft markets, on display at various exhibitions and from her online shop.
