Sexual Health

Sexual health is an important component of a person’s development and quality of life, and individuals with developmental disabilities are no different.

In this training we will cover:

• What does sexual health mean?
  
• Look at the barriers to talking about sexuality
  
• Supporting individuals where they are at
  
• Modeling appropriate relationships and boundaries are
  
• Examine possible causes of challenging sexual behaviours.
  
• Barriers to accessing sexual health for individuals with disabilities.

This online course is part of Pivot Point’s ongoing education series for CLBC agency partners, individuals receiving services, and caregivers.
