Teaching the Team: ABA Strategies for Effective Staff Training

This presentation explores how principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) can be used to make frontline staff training more practical, engaging, and effective.

Participants will learn how to use evidence-based teaching strategies such as intentional instruction modification, modelling, rehearsal, feedback, prompting, reinforcement, and competency-based training.

The presentation will emphasize strategies that promote staff confidence, consistency, skill retention, and the successful application of learning in everyday support environments.

This online course is part of Pivot Point’s ongoing education series for CLBC agency partners, individuals receiving services, and caregivers.

This event will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 from 9am - 12 pm PST / 10am - 1 pm MST
