Pivot Point is offering virtual Behavioural Lead training for eligible staff of CLBC funded agencies within the Kootenays Behaviour Consultation Program (KBCP). Keen staff members within each of the Kootenay service agencies may become the first point of contact for behavioural issues with clients.
Once all 6 days of this workshop are complete, candidates can go on to complete a skills-based competency assessment to become eligible to write the Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) exam, and become RBT certified. This paraprofessional certification in applied behaviour analysis provides the opportunity to become a leader within your agency related to behaviour support planning. It also provides the knowledge to address challenging behaviours and the skills to successfully implement a behaviour support plan. Pivot Point’s Behaviour Consultants will provide successful RBTs with their required supervision hours as per the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to maintain their RBT status.
