More about Devon & Cornwall Food Action

Devon & Cornwall Food Action (DCFA) are committed to reducing food waste and fighting hunger in our local communities. DCFA rescue surplus food, which is fit for consumption but which would overwise end up in landfill, and redistributes it to individuals, families and communities who are facing food poverty or instability. DCFA strive to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, whilst contributing to reducing waste and lowering the environmental impact. DCFA work with major supermarket chains, independent food suppliers and manufacturers to redistribute surplus food which would otherwise end up in landfill.

82% of individuals and families DCFA support are in paid employment. They strive to support everyone in need, whether facing temporary hardships or ongoing struggles. They support organisations including Devon & Cornwall Police, Shekinah Mission, Harbour, Hamoaze House and Plymouth Soup Run.

We look forward to seeing you for an evening of fun to raise money for this fantastic charity!

**A special thank you goes to Devon Chambers for sponsoring our Charity Quiz. We are extremely grateful for their support.**
