Workforce Wellbeing & Safety Expo

Following the successful acquisition of the Safety Expo in 2025, Aberdeen’s P&J Live has teamed up with Step Change in Safety (SCiS), the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the continued improvement of UK energy industry safety, to relaunch and rebrand the conference and exhibition as the Workforce Wellbeing & Safety Expo. This enhanced event will take place at P&J Live on Thursday 29th October 2026. 

Combining P&J Live’s platform with SCiS leadership in workforce safety and wellbeing, this partnership signals a new direction for the event - building on its foundations while resetting the focus towards what really makes a difference for the workforce in practice, with a clear emphasis on conversations, relevant content and meaningful engagement.

As a recognised leader in workforce safety and culture wellbeing, SCiS was a natural partner to work alongside and build upon the established event’s core foundation, while broadening and strengthening the quality of discussion, relevance of content and strength of engagement. Although the event is still expected to be anchored within the energy sector, there will also be efforts made to ensure the event’s workforce safety content is relevant to other sectors, such as distilling, manufacturing and agriculture. 

The Workforce Wellbeing & Safety Expo will be aimed at those responsible for shaping and delivering safety outcomes, for example - safety and workforce leaders, operational and site management teams and safety representatives.

The day features a ticketed Safety Breakfast Forum, a free-to-attend Main Conference, an Industry Exhibition, and exclusive Safety Representatives & Site Managers programme for Step Change in Safety members.
