David Lochridge began his career in the Royal Navy before moving into commercial diving, submarine rescue and deep-sea exploration. With more than 30 years’ experience operating in some of the world’s most demanding and unforgiving environments, he has led complex underwater operations and expeditions across the globe. 

As former Director of Marine Operations at OceanGate, David became widely recognised for raising documented safety concerns before the Titan tragedy. Today, he shares practical lessons on safety culture, leadership under pressure and the importance of speaking up when the stakes are highest.
