FESTIVAL SCHEDULE
3:00–4:15 PM · STORYTELLING WORKSHOP · Led by Anne Rutherford and Norm Brecke
Discover how to transform an experience into a compelling story. Perfect for beginners; no previous experience is necessary.
4:30–5:15 PM · OPEN TELLING · Emceed by John Aubert
Put your name in the hat for a chance to take the stage. Selected storytellers will have up to five minutes at the microphone.
5:30–6:30 PM · LIAR’S CONTEST · Emceed by Ed Lewis
Truth is optional—but entertainment is essential. Contestants will have up to seven minutes to spin an outrageous tale. The audience will select the winner of the coveted Golden Shovel Trophy.
6:30–7:15 PM · SNACK BREAK
Enjoy light refreshments and conversation before the featured performance.
7:15–9:00 PM · FEATURED TELLERS · Emceed by Mark Berry
Five featured acts take the stage, each with up to 15 minutes to share a carefully crafted tale filled with humor, heart, discovery, and surprise.
