Description
Planet Wimborne Green Festival - Birds of Poole Harbour
This is a great opportunity to hear first hand about the Poole Harbour Osprey Reintroduction Project being led by local charity Birds of Poole Harbour and the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation from one of the project team and discover the successes of the project so far. Learn more about this special bird of prey and its recolonisation in the UK, and find out about conservation efforts being made to further expand their range.
Birds of Poole Harbour is a charity which aims to raise awareness of bird conversation, preservation and observation in and around the Poole Harbour area through harbour-wide partnership working, high standards of people engagement work and continuous monitoring of the harbour and its bird populations.
The talk is at Wimborne Methodist Church hall and doors open at 7pm for refreshments. The talk will start at 7.30pm and will last one hour with time for questions.
