Planet Wimborne Green Festival 2025: Wimborne BID and Wimborne War on Waste - Steps to a greener business event

Please join us for Wimborne BID and Wimborne War on Waste's 'Steps to a greener business' free event in the Bankes Room, Allendale House on Tuesday 13th October 2026 at 12.30 until 14.00.

Across the UK, businesses are rethinking their impact on the environment.  Come and find out what some local businesses are doing to work towards a more sustainable future.  Lunch will be provided when there will be opportunity to chat with other businesses.

Travel arrangements

Please consider travelling to the event by walking, wheeling or by bus (buses will drop you off in Wimborne Square and the venue is 5 minutes away). If you do drive there are various car parks in the town and please consider car sharing.

Accessibility and toilets

The Bankes Room is located on the ground floor. The entrance door to Allendale House is operated by a push button. There is a ramp up to the front of the building with a bell to alert staff to open the door for you.  There are toilets and accessible toilets on the ground floor.
