A Positive Future for Wimborne

Join us for a look at how we as a community can come together to help create a positive future for Wimborne and the surrounding area on the evening of Wednesday 14th October 2026.

Doors will open at 7.30pm for refreshments prior to a 7.45pm start in the Garden Room at the Museum of East Dorset (MED).  The talks should last about one hour and there will be time for networking and meeting our affiliated community groups.  Please note the event is being held in the MED Garden Room at the Hilda Coles Learning Centre which is at the rear of the MED.  The entrance is next to Wimborne Library off Crown Mead and is not accessible through the MED main door on the High Street.

Please note numbers are limited so please order your free tickets. You can also pick up tickets from the Fair Ground shop in the Corn Market.

Planet Wimborne does incur costs for running Green Festival events and so please consider donating to Plant Wimborne either on the night or on-line (please note an administration charge will be incurred by Planet Wimborne) to help cover costs for running the event.

Travel arrangements

Please consider travelling to the event by walking, wheeling or by bus (buses will drop you off in Wimborne Square and the venue is 5 minutes away). If you do drive (there are several car parks nearby) please consider car sharing.

Accessibility & toilets

The MED Hilda Coles meeting room is accessible. There are toilets and an accessible toilet.
