American Horizons

'American Horizons' will feature Aeterna Via, Elaine Hagenberg’s newest large-scale work for chorus and orchestra, in one of the first performances of the composer’s revised version. Following PCC’s successful performance of Hagenberg’s Illuminare last fall, the composer expressed interest in coming to Plano to be present for this performance, creating a rare opportunity for North Texas audiences, singers, students, and educators to experience a significant new American choral-orchestral work in direct conversation with its composer. PCC will be joined by the choir from Plano West Senior High and the Plano Chamber Chorus.
