Discover the hidden connections of our Forests and Oceans. A journey from our past to the present. How reforestation can save our oceans.

Free tickets to an evening of talks, by scientists, marine biologists, forest ecologists, activists and folklore story tellers, showcasing ground breaking science and highlights of an upcoming documentary.

There is a continued and deep connection between our forests and oceans that has been forgotten. If we want to save our oceans we must reforest the land. We must shape new myths and tell new stories, ground breaking science and story telling can work together to deliver effective nature restoration.

No Trees No Seas is a pioneering new environmental project by Plant One which aims to raise awareness and advocate for environmental restoration by highlighting the hidden connections between Oceans and Forests, putting this science into practice by restoring 500 hectares of key coastal land

Inspired by a groundbreaking scientific review published in July 2025 commissioned by the Woodland Trust. The science shows that by restoring forests, fish populations can be restocked, sea grass and kelp can be revived, and crucially - plankton decline can be reversed.
