For on the Floor

For on the Floor is an immersive dance/theatre experience that centres the transfer of memory and experience through the transformative properties of vintage clothing both inanimate or...otherwise. Spectator/performer lines are blurred as audience and cast alike embark on their own transformations navigating the cartoonish and the corporeal.

Jammin' Cameron

Throughout his 15 year artistic practice, Josh Cameron (he/him) has primarily focused on researching and developing in Street, Club and Cultural Dance with emphasis on Breaking, Hip Hop, and House. He has a deep and long standing practice of immersing himself in the complex and diverse facets of cultural gatherings including but not limited to battles, clubbing, Ballroom events, and traditional knowledge transfer from Pioneers and Innovators worldwide. Josh’s unique approach to dance stems from his synthesis of Street Dance foundations with extensive training in Martial
Arts as well as a wide variety of Contemporary and experimental movement modalities.

GLAMOURING

In GLAMOURING, Ily and Billy play with a timeless spell drive.

They ask: What else? What more? Can you just be there for me? Can you pay me attention without an accounting of debt? Can you get me out of my own way?

An interrogation of all the intimacy we’ve never had.

A fleeting memorial of being crushed by the fullness of everything’s expression.

A score of being disconcerted with one’s own capacity for sensitivity.
