Sam Blythe: Method in my Madness (a one man hamlet)
Hamlet, stripped to the nerve. One man. One role. No certainty. Clown and physical theatre collide with the Bard's words in this brutal, intimate dive into Shakespeare's most puzzling play...
After a highly successful run at the Adelaide fringe, Sam Blythe's critically acclaimed reimagining of Hamlet comes to London before embarking once more to the Edinburgh fringe. Directed by clown genius and triple Edinburgh award winner Elf Lyons (Swan, Raven, Horses), Method in my Madness is a slow burn that turns an unflinching spotlight on Hamlet's mania. Is this a ruse? Or something more unsettling?
