Playwrights Project's 37th Plays by Young Writers Festival, sponsored by the Sheila and Jeffrey Lipinsky Family Fund and Mandell Weiss Charitable Trust, is a filmed performance featuring winning scripts from its 2021 California Young Playwrights Contest.

COVID-19 Guidelines & Policy
In response to continuing concerns regarding COVID-19, we are implementing the following policies to ensure a safe theatre experience for all. We appreciate your understanding and compliance.

All attendees attending the Plays by Young Writers Festival Opening Night Celebration must either show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken in the prior 72 hours.

• Full vaccination implies that at least 14 days must have passed since receiving 2 doses of Moderna/Pfizer or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

• PCR test must be administered on either May 4th or 5th in order to receive results by the performance date.

All attendees, regardless of vaccination status, must wear masks over their nose and mouth at all times while inside the Joan B. Kroc Theatre. All food and drink must be consumed prior to entering the venue

This performance has an anticipated run time of 90 minutes. Online ticket sales will end 12 hours prior to the performance start. Tickets can be purchased at the door if there are any remaining. Ticket purchases are non-refundable after the event takes place. Further details will be sent prior to the celebration.
