We're delighted to invite all parents & guardians of prospective students starting in September 2026 to the Parent & Guardian Welcome Evening taking place on Monday 6th of July 5PM- 6PM 

An event for parents/ guardians/ carers of prospective students who will be starting a Level 3 or a T Level course in any subject at Plumpton College in September 2026. This evening will give you all the information you need to know about your young person studying at Plumpton College, including the transition process from school to college.

Our relationship with you is critical to your young person's success at the college, and your attendance at this event is a great chance to gain all the information you need to ensure your young person has a smooth start with us in September and throughout their journey.

121s with our Inclusive Learning and Development Team

When booking your ticket for this event, you can book an additional ticket for a 10-minute appointment with a member of our Inclusion, Learning & Development Team between 3:00pm and 4:30pm. This might be of particular interest if a student has an EHCP or additional support needs. They are always sought after, so book at your earliest opportunity, as limited slots are available.


What to expect:

  • 3:00 - 4:30pm: Pre-booked 121 session with our ILD team
  • 4:45- 5:00pm: (For 14-16 guardians ONLY) 14-16 talk with Scott McCue (Director of Transition, Education Pathways and Foundation Learning)
  • 4:30 - 5:00pm: Speak to our Student Support services, ranging from English & Maths, travel, bursaries, residential and more
  • 5:00 - 5:30pm: Talk from Jeremy Kerswell, Principal, Coral Ward, Vice Principal (Curriculum & Quality) and James Hibbert, Deputy Principal (Resources, Student Services and Farm
  • 5:30 - 6:00pm: Meet the curriculum staff - here, you can discuss any questions, e.g. student expectations, equipment, trips and anything else.

  • This event is for parents/guardians/carers of students studying a Level 3 or a T Level.
