💥💥💥 Plunge is partnering up with DreamWorks' RUBY GILLMAN, TEENAGE KRAKEN's new movie coming out next week for this event. All participants will be entered to win free advance screening passes to DreamWorks’ upcoming film: RUBY GILLMAN, TEENAGE KRAKEN. The screening will take place Saturday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. at AMC MISSION VALLEY. Win a family prize pack at the event, you don't want to miss out!

Early Bird Tickets are only $10/participant, Pre-Sale Tickets are $15/participant and tickets at the door are $20/participant. Adults or children attending the event and not participating can pre-purchase a facility pass for $5 or at the door on the day of the event. All guests entering the Plunge facility are required to have either a Participant Ticket or a Facility Pass. Waivers are required for all participants and non-participants who enter our facility. 

All ages are welcome to participate. We request that if you have a child under the age of 6, that you purchase a participant ticket to be in the water with them during the swim lesson. The swim lesson will be a large group format with a curriculum set by the World's Largest Swim Lesson organizers. 

All participants will receive a limited-edition wristband and take a spin on our prize wheel. The entire two hours of education and fun on our floating obstacle course is included in the ticket price. No refunds will be issued for this event. The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ sends the message Swimming Lessons Save Lives™ to millions with a unified 24-hour global event.

Recent studies show that TEAM WLSLTM continues to make a difference. According to the American Red Cross, data from 2020 shows an increase in children’s water competency and in the overall number of people taking swimming lessons. But there’s more work to be done. Research released by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2021 shows drowning has become THE Leading cause of unintended death for U.S. children ages 1-4-number one, ahead of car accidents, birth abnormalities and cancer. Drowning is the third leading cause of unintentional injury-related death throughout the rest of the world. This issue is truly a matter of life and death for kids and families, regardless of race, economics or geography.

The Historic Plunge San Diego will be serving as an official Host Location for the 2023 WLSL event.
