Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy but miserly businessman, despises Christmas and shows little kindness towards those around him. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him to change his ways. During the night, three spirits appear: the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. They reveal the consequences of Scrooge’s selfishness and the suffering caused by his greed. Frightened by visions of a lonely future, Scrooge awakens on Christmas morning determined to become a kinder, more generous man and rediscover the true spirit of Christmas.
