Elemental: Water launch event: a celebration of new writing for the planet from Cambridge, and a gala poetry reading

Join us to celebrate the publication of Elemental: Water, a beautiful anthology of new writing from a brilliant array of established and new voices, all with live Cambridge connections. From first time poets to those with established international reputations, Elemental: Water is a teeming pool of talent, of Cambridge's care for the river for which it's named but for oceans, lakes, taps, every kind of source of inspiration.  This book began life in a conversation between Peter and Amanda Carpenter and their wonderful Worple Press with Poetry at Pembroke, and soon became Elemental Poetry Cambridge: poems flowed from a series of free workshops across the city led by Peter Carpenter in 2024-5, and this book gained strength from submissions from members of Cambridge's many poetry groups.
