We, Lady and Lord Dosis, invite you to lie down and embark upon a most tender and surprising voyage ☁️ POETRY NAP ☁️ The Curious Wonders Beyond the Shimmering Mist ☁️ on Wednesday, October 21 at Root & Bloom Institute in Berkeley.

Together we shall venture where maps are of little use, with curiosity as our compass, following whispers and whims wherever they may lead.

Our giant hot-air-balloon bed, the Dandy Duchess awaits, her great globe sighing with sleep, her sheets fluttering in anticipation. We'll voyage together from the ground up, lying upon the carpeted Root & Bloom floor, so BYOBedding! For your comfort we recommend an ample nest of camping or sleeping mats, blankets, pillows, or inflatable clouds: the more plush, the more lush!

We promise: you are in for an otherworldly treat.

Timing
7:15p-8:00p Root & Bloom opens. Find your spot on a first come, first serve basis. Get comfortable. Get to know your neighbors.
8:00p-9:30p Poetry Nap: The Curious Wonders Beyond the Shimmering Mist with no intermission
8:20p Doors close. No more admittance. This is in order to respect the peace and vibe of the Dandy Duchess passengers.
9:30p-10:00p Slowly wake up, gather your things, and exit Root & Bloom on a cloud

What to Bring
Yes, BYOBedding! We most emphatically recommend an ample nest of camping or sleeping mats, blankets, pillows, or inflatable clouds: the more plush, the more lush!

What not to Bring
In order to have a peaceful, uninterrupted adult nap, although we love them dearly, please no children. The voyage is for ages 16 and up.

Parking
If you need to arrive by car, park west of 6th Street, where more street parking is available. No guest parking is allowed on 7th St, 8th St, or 9th St, or on Bancroft east of 6th St – this is in care of our residential neighbors. Anyone reported parking east of 6th St will be asked to pay a $40 fine towards RBI’s fund for bikeeastbay.org. See map below for details.
