THE POLITE TOURIST PRESENTS:
A THURSDAY EVENING WALK IN YORK - WAKING THE DEAD OF WALMGATE.
The history of WALMGATE nestled within the City of YORK has long woven shadows of poverty, criminality, and despair throughout the Victorian era.
For those of a curious and hardy temper – why not come along and listen to The Polite Tourist one WEDNESDAY evening in the ancient City of YORK as they share with you the tales of those ordinary folk including the story of a desperate young mother, the wealthy ornithologist, the troubled teenager and a strange poisoning.
Hear also the story of a disgruntled spouse and the tragedy of a shattered reputation.
And ALL lost to history – until now!
