Description

Death in a Chocolate Box Celebrates York Residents' Festival 2023!

In celebration of the 27th Residents' Festival - Death in a Chocolate Box is offering York residents an exclusive opportunity to walk awhile one evening through the snickelways and streets of our wonderful city with the Lady Brigante, our erstwhile sleuth and storyteller.

For those of a curious and hardy temperament – why not come along and listen to the Lady Brigante on FRIDAY JANUARY 27 2023 or SATURDAY JANUARY 28 2023 as she shares with you the tales of those ordinary folk who have ALL been lost to history – until now!

However, for those of a sensitive nature who are averse to real stories of tears, heartache and tragedy – a evening walk with the Lady B may NOT be to your taste.

A valid YORK CARD or identity card with proof of York Residency MUST be offered prior to the beginning of your walk.

WHO or WHAT is Death in a Chocolate Box?

Death in a Chocolate Box offers true crime walks of Victorian York.

Innovative, meticulously researched and inspired by true crime stories from the Victorian era and through the tales of those ordinary people woven into the rich fabric of an ancient city’s social history – our tours are designed to offer an informative and unique walk with an experienced storyteller.

You can also discover a selection of thoughtful gifts in our on-line store, including our unique ‘Yorky Grit’ AND there is some rather attractive and sustainable gift wrap available too!
