Shaw Reel Cinema Club Halloween Double Bills

Shaw Reel Cinema Club returns in time for Halloween with not one but two double bills across the 30^th and 31^st of October. 

The Craft (1996) + The Crow (1994), Friday, October 30th Doors, 6.30pm

 For one night only step back into the 90’s and experience two of the decades ultimate Goth cult classics back to back on the big screen: The Craft and The Crow! Whether you are a lifelong fan or experiencing these dark masterpieces for the first time, prepare for an evening of 90's style, supernatural power and hauntingly iconic soundtracks.

The Guest (2014) + Mystery Screening, Saturday, October 31st, Doors, 6.30pm

Get ready for the ultimate retro throwback thriller and join us on Halloween night for a big screen presentation of the ridiculously entertaining, The Guest.

Blending synth soaked 1980's nostalgia with brutal action, suspense and plenty of humour this lean thriller stars Dan Stevens in a charismatic performance as David, a charming veteran who arrives on the door step of a grieving family claiming to be their late son’s best friend. But as Halloween approaches a string of mysterious deaths plague the town and David’s dark secret begins to unravel. Featuring a pulsing soundtrack, pitch-black humour and another sharp performance from modern scream queen Maika Monroe, the Guest demands to be seen with a crowd. 

The Guest will be followed by a mystery screening. We aren’t going to tell you what it is so you’ll just have to wait for the big give away.

Both evenings begin with a live performance of some spooky tunes on the Wurlitzer cinema organ courtesy of The Scottish Cinema Organ Trust.
