POP+BARK is officially back in Durham and we're kicking off the festive season with ALL the Christmas sparkle at Slug & Lettuce on Sunday 1st November! ✨

Get ready for one HUGE Cockapoo Christmas pawty, packed with festive fun, Christmas tunes and a whole room of curly-haired cuties living their very best off-lead lives. Think bouncing curls, wagging tails, questionable listening skills and enough Cockapoo energy to keep Santa on his toes!

Christmas jumpers, sequins and DAZZLE are the dress code. Expect festive props galore, picture-perfect Christmas moments, our iconic Pupuccino Bar serving up gingerbread pup cups and, of course, a very special visit from SANTA PAWS himself! 🎅🐾

And because the more curls, the merrier, similar-sized Poodle-mix cousins are very welcome to join the festivities too!

🎄Join Durham's biggest Cockapoo Christmas gathering for 80 minutes of pure festive joy. One stunning venue, a sea of very merry Cockapoos and heaps of off-lead fun! Christmas jumpers, sequins and outrageous festive fits encouraged – it's time to sleigh!

🎅 Meet Santa Paws! The big dog himself is coming to POP+BARK. Take your Cockapoo to meet Santa, snap the ultimate festive photo and make a Christmas memory that's going straight on the mantelpiece. Naughty or nice? Santa Paws will be the judge of that...

📸 Your Christmas camera roll = sorted. We're going all out to kick-start the festive season! Expect Christmas props galore, twinkly backdrops, festive photo stations and plenty of sparkle, surprises and ridiculously cute moments worth snapping.

🍸 We're taking over Slug and Lettuce with their indoor bar pawfect for off-lead madness. Grab a festive cocktail, order some delicious bites and soak up the Christmas chaos while your Cockapoo makes a whole bunch of new besties.

🧁 No POP+BARK pawty would be complete without our iconic Pupuccino Bar, and Christmas calls for a festive glow-up! Your Cockapoo can tuck into a gingerbread pup cup piled with delicious toppings like turkey and cranberry.

🎾 Expect festive stuffies, nutcrackers, toys, bubbles, balls and heaps of doggy fun ready to chase, squeak, sniff, pounce on and play with. Basically, a Cockapoo's Christmas wish list come to life! 🎄🐾

🐩 Curly-haired cousins, get ready to sleigh! Similar-sized Poodle mixes are very welcome to join the festivities too. Because the more curls, the merrier!

From bouncy little pups finding their paws to distinguished curly-haired seniors who've perfected the art of being adorable, Cockapoos of all ages are welcome to mingle, make friends and find their fellow curly-haired crew!

Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Cockapoo in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD. No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, play, zoomie, make new besties or simply potter around at their own pace!

And trust us, there's something magical about watching a room full of Cockapoos come together. The bouncing curls, the wagging tails, the wildly enthusiastic greetings and the occasional selective hearing... it's Cockapoo heaven! Add Christmas jumpers, festive tunes and a little sparkle into the mix and you've got one ridiculously happy place to be. ✨

And don't forget, similar-sized Poodle-mix cousins are welcome to join the fun too. The more curls, the merrier! 🐩🎄

DRESSED TO SLEIGH 🎄✨

Christmas jumpers, sequins and DAZZLE are very much encouraged. Whether your Cockapoo is serving cosy Christmas knit, Santa's fluffiest little helper, head-to-paw sparkle or a festive outfit that's almost as extra as their personality – we want to see it!

And don't forget, you'll be meeting SANTA PAWS himself, so make sure you're dressed to impress! After all, a photo with the big man deserves a seriously fabulous festive outfit. 🎅✨

Better still, get involved yourself. Come twinning with your Cockapoo, dress up the kids or get the whole gang sparkling. The bigger the curls, the bolder the outfits, the better. This is your excuse to go completely over the top – it's Christmas, after all! 🎄🪩

Our Dog Lover tickets are made for anyone who simply wants to spend 80 glorious minutes surrounded by a room FULL of bouncing, wagging, ridiculously adorable Cockapoos. Frankly, we can't think of a more joyful way to kick-start Christmas!

If you've always dreamed of owning a Cockapoo, it's also the perfect chance to get to know the breed, meet Cockapoos of all ages, chat to their humans and discover what makes these clever, affectionate, slightly chaotic little characters so completely irresistible. 

Be warned, you might leave wanting one of your own! 🐶❤️

Need a festive serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some Cockapoos, grab a Christmas cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly merrier than you arrived. Bonus points if you manage to get a photo of a Cockapoo actually sitting still. 🎄🐶

Watch your Cockapoo take their rightful place at the bar and tuck into a gingerbread pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and all their favourite goodies. Consider it their very own Christmas treat!

It's messy. It's ridiculously cute. And with Cockapoos involved, expect some VERY enthusiastic taste-testing. Your dog will absolutely LOVE it!

• Do keep an eye as they always remain your responsibility
• Don’t leave any dog mess behind – bag and bin it
• Don’t bring aggressive dogs to the event please
• Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety & wellbeing of all

POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:

• Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
• Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
• Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
• Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
• Have one dog first-aid team member on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
2. POP+BARK are the organisers, Cockapoo Cafe is the event and Slug and Lettuce is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions, you must keep them safe and if your dog harms another dog or person it will fall under your own liability.
3. Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care responsibly them – suggested dog to human ratio is 2:1
4. If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner - POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space - the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
5. You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are then classed as 'Owners' and should be in possession of Owner tickets and in attendance with at least one dog.
6. If neither you or the guests in your booking are bringing a dog with you to the event, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
7. All children must be accounted for - children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free but you must still order a ticket for them.
8. All dogs must be accounted for and we ask you order a ticket for your dog (they are free) please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend and do not bring a dog with you but have purchased an Owner ticket it will be at the discretion of the organisers as to whether you are allowed in - you will be required to pay the additional costs to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
9. There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events - you must check you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. However, if in the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the organisers.
10. If the event should be cancelled you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor or a Refund via Voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or Children 6 or under)
11. Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or a Pupcorn but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable - the ticket covers entry only.
12. Please only bring Cockapoos and similar sized poodle mixes - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
13. POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used but not limited to: website, event and marketing promotion, social media content adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image you can email help@popandbark.com but please be aware while we will endeavour to action any requests, on occasion we may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or in the public domain.
14. We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests suitable notice of any changes.
